Mission
Alphabet League Counseling's mission is to provide a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment that promotes personal growth, healing, healthy relationships of all types, improved overall mental well-being, and self-exploration, including a person's gender identity, sexuality, and other aspects of their self.
Vision
Ideally, the ultimate vision would be a community where people feel free to be themselves, without fear of their safety. Realistically, this vision is developing a network, collection of resources, and gathering knowledge of locations that are inclusive.

About Me.
I was born in Louisiana, moved to Texas when I was 3 years old, and raised in a small town in the Hill Country a couple hours away from San Antonio. They were not accepting of anyone who was not cisgender, heterosexual, monogamous, and Christian. I left there to join the Army at 18, but ended up with an injury stateside and was (honorably) discharged and I ended up back in the Hill Country.
After a couple relationships that I will describe as "great learning experiences for my career," I gave up the small town life to move to San Antonio to be with my current partner several years ago. We have a total of four children, ranging from age 5 to 14 years old. I have been astounded at the rich culture, amazing people, and sense of community I have found here in San Antonio.
In my spare time I like to attend (usually family-friendly) events, especially if they involve music, advocacy/pride/LGBTQIA+, nerdy things, food, or alternative healing (I'm learning to introduce tarot into therapy). I also listen to music and podcasts, read, dance, occasionally work-out (trying to do more of that like every other human), cook/bake (gluten-free), watch TV, do crafts, paint, and play games. If there is anything else you would like to know and it is appropriate, then feel free to ask.
